The Western Sydney Wanderers have gone down 3-1 against the Central Coast Mariners in a Foxtel National Youth League clash on Saturday afternoon at the CCM Centre of Excellence.
Despite opening the scoring early, the Wanderers were unable to hold onto their lead in a match played in blistering conditions.

The home side came out firing in the opening minutes with Mariner Lachlan Wales forcing Nicholas Suman to make some fantastic saves that kept it even between both sides.Â
Â
The Red & Black went into the lead at the 16th minute mark after Ramy Najjarine’s shot took a heavy deflection, flying into the Mariners goal.
Â
The Mariners soon equalised with a Shelford Dais cross finding Josh Bingham who headed home.
Â
Central Coast took the lead soon after the break with a shot from distance by Mortaza Safdari.
Â
Minutes later the Central Coast went 3-1 up when Josh Bingham converted from the spot after Dais was brought down in the box.Â
  Â
The result now sees the Red & Black placed second on Conference B’s table with the Mariners now ahead by two points.
 Â
