Abdelrahman Kuku arrived in Western Sydney from Egypt in 2004 with his Sudanese parents and fell in love with football straight away.

Kuku’s rise to the top was not easy and required a lot of patience from the youngster as he played seven seasons at non-league level with community club Hinchinbrook True Blues before finally signing his first semi-professional contract at Mounties Wanderers in 2014.

One step at a time, Kuku finally signed for the Wanderers Academy in 2016 on the advice of former Wanderers skipper Michael Beauchamp., starting in the U20s before working his way up to the senior NPL2 team.

Kuku was announced in the Foxtel National Youth League squad in November 2016 and made his NYL debut against Newcastle Jets in Round 1 of the 2016/17 season.
