Bozanic on Gold Coast Camp and camaraderie

We caught up with midfielder Oliver Bozanic to talk about the importance of this year’s pre-season training camp in Queensland.

The Red & Black have made the trip to the Gold Coast for a 10-day camp designed to bring the team together to bond both on and off the field.

For Bozanic, such opportunity is a great chance to build the foundations for the upcoming A-Leagues season.

“It’s really nice to get away with the team in pre-season and really get together, work on all the tactics that the boss wants to work on and also go through a lot of bonding exercises as well,” said Bozanic.

“That is great for the team and the environment and then we take that back into the new season.

With the team set to return to Western Sydney later this week to continue their pre-season preparations, Bozanic is enjoying every minute building relationships with his teammates.

“It’s great for the coaching side, the player side and the tactical side,” said Bozanic on the camp.

“But it’s also great for getting to know the players as we’re a very new team as well, and really solidifying us as a team.”
