The Western Sydney Wanderers will look to continue their undefeated record when the entire club takes on Mt Druitt Town Rangers in the PS4 NPL this Saturday.
Having won all seven grades in Round 1 last week, the top-of-the-table Wanderers travel to Popondetta Park for a 7pm kick-off in first grade. U13s commence at 9am.
Mt Druitt hosted the Red & Black in the NPL pre-season with the Wanderers coming away with a 4-0 victory following goals by Lachlan Roberts, Lachlan Scott, Brenton Fox and Mathieu Cordier.
Fans will hope that Lachlan Scott can continue his form from last week where his five goals off the bench saw him lead the PS4 NPL2 goal scoring charts in Round 1.
Despite a 6-0 win last week, the Wanderers found themselves in a tight contest for the majority of the match last week and will be wary of another slow start which could prove fatal against a Mt Druitt outfit who impressed pundits last week.
The Town Rangers fell 1-0 to Marconi Stallions in an even match against one of the promotion favourites.
