The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers launched the 2015/16 Hyundai A-League season by holding two special events in Parramatta.
Over a thousand people gathered throughout the day in Parramatta’s Centenary Square, which was transformed into a mini match-day precinct featuring activations from our sponsors Pepper and NRMA Insurance.
Wanderers Brendon Santalab, Andreu, Alberto, Andrew Redmayne and Jaushua Sotirio all made an appearance in the afternoon giving fans the opportunity to meet them, sign their merchandise and wish them luck for the upcoming season.
As the clouds rolled in, it was then time for Parramatta Town Hall to play host to a VIP event which saw the presentation of the full Hyundai A-League squad and the much-anticipated announcement of this year’s Westfield W-League squad.
The star-studded event began with the Australian Defence Force’s marching band kicking off the festivities, while club ambassador and MC for the evening Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson delighted the guests in attendance.
It was also a night of celebration for Mitsubishi Electric and Pepper, as both sponsors announced that they were extending their support of the Wanderers for an additional three years.
