The announcement comes as a thank you from the club to the Wanderers passionate members and fans who have supported the club’s solid start to the Isuzu UTE A-League season which sees them currently second on the ladder.

The clash against Everton will mark the first time the Wanderers have played an international match at their home ground since taking Leeds United down to the wire in the opening football at CommBank Stadium in July 2019.

The game will pit Wanderers head coach Marko Rudan against legendary English Premier League Manager Frank Lampard who is taking charge as his first full season as boss of the Blues.

Western Sydney Wanderers CEO Scott Hudson thanked the club’s members and fans.

“As a thank you to our passionate members and fans for their support so far this season, we are very proud to get the price of active tickets reduced by 30% for our historic clash against Everton,” said Hudson.

“We are very excited to see the stands filled with Red & Black on such a historic occasion and the discount ensures that we can get as many Wanderers supporters to CommBank Stadium as possible.”

The clash is part of the new Sydney Super Cup which will bring Europe’s top football teams to NSW every two years.
