The Red & Black will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing opening round result which saw them fall 4-2 to Newcastle Jets in Tamworth.
While the result didn’t go the Wanderers way, there were plenty of positive signs to take from the Red & Black’s first outing with Melissa Caceres proving to be a revelation in the midfield.
Their opponents on Saturday head into the match after a very convincing result against Melbourne Victory and there’s no better time for the Wanderers to make their mark on the Liberty A-League competition than the Sydney Derby.
