Mens NPL 1
Thomas Manos made two great diving saves and a one-on-one save during his sides 3-0 loss against Apia Leichhardt.
Marconi Stallions lost 5-0 against Blacktown City and Anthony Schmidt played the full match in defence.
NPLU20
Michael Trajkovski was still out injured in his sides 3-0 win against Blacktown Spartans.
NPLU18
Jordan Koton ’s match with Sydney United 58 against Rockdale City Suns was cancelled after it was washed out.
NPLW 1
Tia Gavin and Chloe O’Brien from Manly United will have to play against former teammates Jordan Baker , Michelle Carney and Caitlin Cooper from Illawarra Stingrays at another time as the game was also washed out.
For the second week in a row Laura Donnelly and the Macarthur Rams had their game washed out but this time it was against the North West Sydney Koalas which would have seen Donnelly play against Helen Petinos , Hannah Beard and Rhianna Pollicina .
Football NSW’S Demi Koulizakis and Lorena Bugden both featured in the side that lost 2-0 against North Shore Mariners. Koulizakis got injured in the 18th minute and did not return to the field. Budgen however played the full match and had a fantastic game, beating a lot of players and having an opportunity to score.
Sydney University’s Grace Henry, Trudy Burke, Jess Urquhart, Victoria Guzman and Rachel Soutar also did not play after wild weather cancelled their match against Central Coast FC.
NPL2
Caitlin Jarvie returned back from holiday on Tuesday to play for Marconi Stallions.
National Women’s Soccer League (USA)
Keelin Winters and Seattle Reign were victorious after defeating Washington Spirit 3-1.
Portland Thorns and Kendall Johnson did not have a game scheduled.
This Weekend
Sydney United 58 with Jordan Koton who will be hopefully back from injury will be taking on Manly United on Saturday at 3.30pm at Sydney United Sports Centre.
Marconi Stallions and Anthony Schmidt will be playing against Sutherland Sharks away from home on Saturday night 7.30pm at Seymour Shaw.
Michael Trajkovski has hopes to be back from injury to participate in Sydney Olympic’s next match where they will be battling it out against Blacktown City FC at 1pm on Sunday at Lilys Football Centre.
Thomas Manos and the South Coast Wolves will play on Sunday at 3pm against Rockdale City Suns at WIN Stadium.
Tia Gavin and Chloe O’Brien from Manly United will be taking on Football NSW Institute’s Demi Koulizakis and Lorena Budgen at Valentine Sports Park this Sunday at 3pm.
The Macarthur Rams and Laura Donnelly will play against former teammates Jordan Baker, Michelle Carney and Caitlin Cooper from Illawarra Stingrays also on Sunday at 3pm at Lynwood Park.
