This allows you to follow how our players are performing for their NPL and overseas clubs while keeping you up-to-date with fixtures in case you’d like to go and watch them live.
Mens NPL 1
Anthony Schmidt played a full 90 minutes in their 2-0 loss against Manly United. His performance was consistent with a highlight being when he beat his marker and put in a dangerous cross that was almost headed into goal.
South Coast Wolves and Thomas Manos had a 1-1 draw against Blacktown Spartans. Manos made a crucial diving save to his right hand side to earn a point for his side.
NPL U20
Michael Trajkovski missed out on the opportunity to play over the weekend after his match with Sydney Olympic was washed out against Rockdale City Suns.
NPL U18
Jordan Koton played a full match for Sydney United as they defeated Parramatta FC 5-2. He grabbed an assist and backed the performance up with 20 minutes in the U20s as they lost 2-1.
WNPL 1
Chloe O’Brien and Tia Gavin both featured for Manly United and started off their season with a win 2-1 over Emerging Jets. Gavin especially played well with a great individual performance that saw her play the full match and set up one of the goals.
FNSW Institute smashed Central Coast FC 7-1 with Wanderers Demi Koulizakis and Lorena Bugden playing significant roles. Koulizakis worked hard on the field and created a plethora of opportunities for herself and her teammates in her 55 minutes on the pitch. Koulizakis scored a belter with a blackheel flick and also grabbed an assist for another.
Hannah Beard, Helen Petinos, Jessica Seaman and Rhianna Policina all played for the North West Sydney Koalas who gained revenge on their loss in the Pre-Season Cup Final by defeating Illawarra Stingrays 3-1. Petinos was the star of the show, scoring two goals and setting-up the third for Beard.
Michelle Carney scored lone goal for Stingrays with fellow Wanderers Caitlin Cooper and Jordan Baker also on the pitch.
Laura Donnelly and Macarthur Rams worked hard in their 3-0 victory over Linda O’Neill’s Blacktown Spartans. Donnelly played the full match, scored a goal and set-up the second. O’Neill was fortunate to have kept her emotions in check in such a physical match – something which she is working on this season.
WNPL 2
Caitlin Jarvie and Marconi Stallions defeated Surtherland Shire FA 1-0.
National Women’s Soccer League (USA)
Keelin Winters captained Seattle Reign to a 5-1 victory over Western New York Flash in Round 1 of the NWSL.
Kendall Johnson and Portland Thorns also won as they humbled Boston Breakers 4-1. Johnson grabbed an assist with a defence-splitting pass which found her teammate unmarked in the box.

South Coast Wolves with Thomas Manos in goals will battle it out against Parramatta FC on Sunday at 3pm at Melita Stadium.
Manly United will welcome visitors Sydney Olympic and Michael Trajkovski on Sunday at 1pm at Cromer Park.
Jordan Koton and Sydney United will play against Bonnyrigg White Eagles this Saturday at 3.30pm at Bonnyrigg Sports Club.
Chloe O’Brien and Tia Gavin will represent Manly United against Central Coast FC on Sunday 19 April at Pluim Park at 3pm.
Demi Kouliakis and Lorena Bugden from FNSW Institute will take on Hannah Beard, Helen Petinos, Jessica Seaman and Rhiannon Pollicina from North West Sydney Koalas when the two teams battle it out on Sunday 19 April 3pm at ELS Hall Park.
Illawara Stingrays and Caitlin Cooper, Jordan Baker and Michelle Carney will play against North Shore Mariners at 3.30pm on Sunday at Northbridge Oval.
Blacktown Spartans and Linda O’Neill face Sydney University at Blacktown Football Park, Sunday 3pm.
Caitlin Jarvie and Marconi Stallions take on Northern Tigers FC at Marconi Stadium on Sunday at 3pm.
