Western Sydney Wanderers and Wellington Phoenix will battle it out for the Sister Cities Shield on Friday night at CommBank Stadium.
The Shield recognises the Sister Cities relationship between Blacktown City in Western Sydney and Porirua in Wellington.
In 1984 a formal sister cities agreement was signed to promote cultural and commercial ties between the two cities.
Over the last 35 years, there has been a wide range of activities covering sporting, education, culture, and the arts which have enhanced the experiences of both communities.
The first A-Leagues match celebrating the relationship between the two cities was back in March 2018.
