Saveska returns to the Red & Black

Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the signing of midfielder Sienna Saveska for the upcoming Ninja A-League season.

Having already featured in 11 matches in the domestic competition, Saveska returns to the club where she made her professional debut and hopes of helping the Red & Black reach the Finals Series.

“I think we have the players and the quality to make the finals, and I just want to do my part to ensure that we get where we deserve to be this year,” said Saveska.

“I left to find game time, and I came back to get game time. I think this year I have a great opportunity to make my mark and really take the opportunity that I have been given to help the team and better myself in the process.”

Head Coach Robbie Hooker said Saveska is an exciting prospect for the squad and the Ninja A-League competition.

“A massive focus for myself and the club is in the future of our game, and the next generation of players that are coming through the ranks of the Ninja A-League. Sienna is one of these players, and one that could be an exciting addition to our squad this season,” said Hooker.

“Saveska has shown a lot of potential over the last two seasons, however we want to give her that opportunity to truly show what she is capable of and cement herself as a starting player – and we hope she takes that opportunity with both hands.”
