The Western Sydney Wanderers recently hosted the Female Mentorship Program powered by the NSW Government, a transformative two-day event that inspired and empowered senior female students from schools across Western Sydney.
Held at Wanderers Fives, the program focused on leadership and wellbeing, offering students the opportunity to engage in activities that nurtured personal growth and resilience.
Participants heard from an exceptional lineup of guest speakers, including Wanderers high-performance staff, players from our women’s team, and notable figures such as Chloe Dalton, Cath Cannuli, and Nikki Riddle, who shared their journeys and insights into football and life beyond the field.
In addition to these inspiring talks, the program featured a yoga session, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Wanderers’ facilities, and various interactive workshops.
The experience concluded with an unforgettable visit to a Wanderers match on Saturday, where the participants witnessed the spirit of football firsthand.
This initiative reflected the Wanderers’ commitment to empowering the next generation of female leaders, fostering their confidence, and inspiring their future success.
