This past Sunday, the Western Sydney Wanderers and the passionate Red & Black Bloc came together to make a real difference for families in need across Western Sydney.
We’re proud to share that an incredible seven pallets of non-perishable food items and toys were collected during our donation drive at CommBank Stadium. These generous contributions, gathered in partnership with Turbans 4 Australia will bring much-needed support to families facing tough times this Christmas.
The day was a powerful reminder of the importance of giving back during the festive season.
With so many families in the Western Sydney community struggling amongst the cost-of-living crisis, the generosity of our fans and members demonstrates the strength and compassion of Wanderers’ supporters.
The incredible efforts by the community off the field were matched by an unforgettable performance on it.
The day was capped off with the Wanderers’ Isuzu UTE A-League team defeating Wellington Phoenix in an emphatic performance, making it a truly special day at Wanderland.
The Wanderers would like to thank everyone who donated and made this initiative a success. Your kindness will brighten the holiday season for so many families and showcases the true spirit of the Wanderers family.
