Western Sydney Wanderers FC are proud to announce the return of Academy product Jarrod Carluccio to the club’s Isuzu UTE A-League team on a one and half season deal.
One of Western Sydney’s ‘Son’s’, Carluccio has been part of the Wanderers family since 2015 where he has worked his way up through the club’s Academy ranks.
Carluccio made his debut in the club’s historic first match at CommBank Stadium against Leeds United and went on to make 19 A-Leagues for the club.
Following eight years in Western Sydney, Carluccio went on loan to A-Leagues outfit Perth Glory, initially on a loan deal which was made permanent at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Carluccio went on to have a significant impact at Perth Glory making 35 appearances and scoring two goals.
Western Sydney Wanderers head coach Alen Stajcic said he was pleased to bring Jarrod back to the club.
“Its fantastic to bring Jarrod back home,” said Stajcic.
“Having worked with him before, there is no player more dedicated, passionate or hard working to the team’s cause.
“He is a great fit for the culture we are trying to build and implement.”
Jarrod Carluccio said he was humbled to return to his homegrown club.
“I am humbled to return to the Wanderers, there really is no place like home,” said Carluccio.
“Wearing the Red & Black is personal to me. Having grown up in the Western Sydney region and starting my football career at the club, it means a lot to have the opportunity to return and continue my professional development.
“I look forward to reconnecting with our passionate members and fans, and I would like to thank the club for giving me the opportunity and I hope to make everyone proud over the next year and a half.”
Carluccio will be available for selection in tomorrow night’s Isuzu UTE A-League clash against Central Coast Mariners.
