Harada re-signs for the Red & Black

Western Sydney Wanderers FC have tonight confirmed the re-signing of Ena Harada for the upcoming Ninja A-League season.

Harada joined the Wanderers ahead of the 2024/25 season after impressing in the NPLW NSW with Bankstown Lions. Having been in Sydney for only six months prior to signing, she quickly adapted to life at the Wanderers.

Throughout the 2024/25 season, Harada became a consistent presence in midfield, making 22 appearances and starting in 19 matches.

Ena Harada scored her first A-League Women’s goal during the 2024/25 season, a well-earned reward that highlighted her growing confidence and impact.

Harada is proving to be a valuable asset to the Wanderers’ midfield and is poised to play an even bigger role as the team continues to develop.

Head coach Geoff Abrahams spoke highly of Harada’s contribution both on and off the field, praising her professionalism and commitment.

“Ena represents exactly what we value at this club and shows a real hunger to improve every week. From the moment she arrived, she’s demonstrated a professional attitude and a willingness to adapt, which has made her a great fit for our environment,” said Abrahams.

“We are proud to have Ena at the club for another season. She’s become a key presence in our midfield. Her first goal this season was a great moment and a clear sign of how far she’s come.”

Harada expressed her ambition and gratitude, highlighting her positive experience and commitment to the club’s success.

“I just really want to win more with this team. I want to score more goals and make it to the finals,” said Harada.

“I want to thank my teammates, everyone’s been super welcoming, and I’ve been having a great time.
