Head coach Geoff Abrahams has named his extended squad for Saturday night’s clash against Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium.
The Wander Women head to Coopers Stadium this Saturday, 27 December, eager to continue building their season after last week’s bye.
Their previous clash against the Central Coast Mariners showed just how dangerous they can be when firing on all cylinders, with Talia Younis’ late strike highlighting the attacking threat in the squad. Amy Harrison, Danika Matos, and Yuan Cong will be key players to watch as the Red & Black look to test Adelaide’s defence and turn moments of promise into goals.
Adelaide come into the fixture off a tight 1-0 defeat to Perth Glory, meaning the Wander Women will need focus and composure from the first whistle.
It’s expected to be a high-tempo, tightly contested match, where smart decision-making and resilience could make all the difference. Western Sydney will be aiming to make a statement on the road and pick up valuable points in what promises to be an exciting clash.
