The Red & Black will be looking to build on their strong performance in the first meeting the sides back in November, when Olivia Price scored another late winner to secure a 1-0 victory away from home.

Last weekend, the Wanderers fell 3-1 to Perth Glory, but the performance highlighted the team’s discipline, resilience, and cohesion – a positive sign as the squad continues to develop throughout the season.

Brisbane arrive on the back of a 1-0 win over reigning champions Melbourne Victory, with 19-year-old Daisy Brown finding the decisive goal.

The Roar have shown they can combine solid defensive organisation with attacking threat, making their ability to convert chances and seize momentum a key challenge for the Wanderers on Friday night.

For Western Sydney, the focus will be on consistency, composure, and attacking intent across the full 90 minutes. Key players like Olivia Price, Danika Matos, and Ella Buchanan will lead the attacking efforts, supported by a disciplined midfield and defence.

The team will look to turn promising passages of play into complete performances, making the most of their home advantage and showing resilience in front of their fans.

Members and supporters can expect a fast-paced, competitive contest as the Wanderers aim to secure a positive result against a strong Brisbane side.
