Wanderers confirm departure of Ninja A-League players

Western Sydney Wanderers FC can confirm that the following players will depart the club following the conclusion of their contracts.

The Club thanks each player for their contribution to the Wanderers and acknowledges the commitment and professionalism they have shown during their time in Red & Black.

Amy Chessari departs after making an important contribution to the Wanderers during her time in Red & Black, becoming a valued member of the squad and representing the Club with commitment and professionalism.

After joining the Wanderers ahead of the 2022/23 season, Cushla Rue played an important role across three campaigns, bringing experience and versatility to the squad.

Japanese midfielder Ena Harada departs after two seasons with the Wanderers, making 20 appearances since arriving at the Club in 2024.

Ella Buchanan joined the Wanderers in 2023 and proved to be a dependable utility, making six appearances across her final campaign with the Club.

Philippines international Janae De Fazio added international experience to the Wanderers squad, making three appearances after arriving at the Club ahead of last season.

South Korean midfielder Kim Soeun featured ten times for the Wanderers, registering one assist during her season in Red & Black.

Poppie Hooks made 19 appearances after joining the Wanderers last season, establishing herself as a regular presence in the heart of the Club’s defence.

Chinese international Yuan Cong made a strong impact during her season in Western Sydney, scoring three goals from 15 appearances.

Anika Stajcic and Siena Arrarte also depart the Wanderers following the conclusion of their contracts after being members of the Club’s Ninja A-League squad.
