While Jerome-s current contract officially ends at the end of the Hyundai A-League 2013/14 season, negotiations are ongoing and remain between the Club and the Player.
“I am committed to the Wanderers for the rest of the season and my focus is on doing my best for the Club as we aim to win the domestic Championship,” said Polenz.
Western Sydney Wanderers FC Executive Chairman, Lyall Gorman, stated that negotiations are ongoing.
“We have been in discussion with Jerome about a new contract for some time and these talks have not yet come to a conclusion,” said Gorman.
“Jerome is a great asset to our playing group and has played an important part in our success to date. We are at the business end of the season and the focus of both the Club and Jerome is firmly on the Hyundai A-League season and our ACL campaign.”
