The Western Sydney Wanderers are proud to announce the signing of midfielder Kahlia Hogg for the upcoming Westfield W-League season.
Hogg has spent her senior career split between Canberra United in the Westfield W-League and the United States College football system where she received a four-year athletic scholarship with Florida State Seminoles.
Hogg completed her studies at the University of Colorado Boulder and was named in the Pac-12 conferences’ All-Academic second team at season’s end.
The midfielder said she was looking forward to getting back on the Westfield W-League radar with the Wanderers this season.
“It was in my interests to move to the club and I took to [coach] Rich [Byrne] and the club’s philosophy very quickly,” she said.
“I’ve been overseas in the United States for the last five years doing my college experience and education, so for me it’s part of getting back into the Australian football scene and taking myself to the next level in the Westfield W-League.
“The Westfield W-League is attracting more and more high-profile Australian players and international talent, so it’s great to compete at this level.”
