HAL: Ins & Outs for Sunday’s match against Melbourne City

Josep Gombau has named his squad for Sunday’s Hyundai A-League Round 6 match against Melbourne City at AAMI Park.

Tickets to the match are still available here.

The match will mark Gombau’s first match in charge of the club after being announced as Tony Popovic’s successor last week.

The new boss will be hoping to preserve the Wanderers’ undefeated start to the season and build on last week’s 1-1 draw against Melbourne Victory.

The Red & Black face a tough task against the sky blue side of Melbourne, with Warren Joyce’s side sitting in second place after last week’s 1-0 loss to Sydney FC.

It marked the first time City had dropped points this season and they’ll no doubt be keen to bounce back in front of their home supporters.

Sunday’s match will be the first meeting between the two sides this season, following the Wanderers’ 3-1 win at Spotless Stadium in March this year.
