Josep Gombau has named his squad for Sunday’s Hyundai A-League Round 19 match against Central Coast Mariners at Central Coast Stadium.
Tickets to the match are available here.
There are three additions to the squad this week, with Kearyn Baccus and Jonathan Aspropotamitis being promoted, while new signing Chris Ikonomidis is also included.
Youngster Keanu Baccus will sit out after his dismissal against Perth Glory last week.
Gosford has been a happy hunting ground for the Red & Black in recent seasons, with the Wanderers having won the last four clashes at Central Coast Stadium, outscoring the Mariners 10-2 in the process.
Striker Brendon Santalab is responsible for a large chunk of that damage, netting in each of the four wins, including in the 2-0 win back in Round 11 of this season.
Both sides are coming off defeats – the Wanderers losing 3-1 in Perth, the Mariners losing 2-1 at home to Brisbane – and will know how crucial this game will be with only eight rounds to play after the weekend.
The Wanderers sit in 7th spot on goal difference behind 6th placed Brisbane, though still have a game in hand to play, next weekend against Wellington at ANZ Stadium.
