Wanderers hold on for crucial win against Central Coast

The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers have reignited their finals push with a crucial 2-1 win over Central Coast Mariners on Sunday at Central Coast Stadium.

Superb training ground routine. Carrusca’s pin-point corner to the edge of the box and Sotirio with plenty of space volleys it – with the help of a deflection – past Kennedy.

Riera WSW 0-2, 30′

Raul Llorente with the cross from wide and Riera has the time to leap and power his header past Kennedy’s left and the ball hits the underside of the bar then keeper and ends up in the net.

Skapetis CCM 1-2, 76′

Melling with a lovely ball into the box and substitute Peter Skapetis heads it across Janjetovic’s goal and into the back of the net.
