Wanderer Ben Keyte was crowned the Western Sydney Wanderers Powerchair Player of the Year by House with No Steps after exceptional 2017 season for the Red & Black.

Ben Keyte finished the season as the team’s leading goal scorer with 11 goals, edging his teammates Jacob Cross and Abdullah Karim who had nine goals apiece.

Keyte is one of the most experienced players in the side, playing in over 80 matches for the Red & Black and has had a wealth of international experience representing the Red & Black.

After one of his best seasons for the team, it was no surprise that Ben was crowned the Wanderers Powerchair Player of the Year for the very first time in his career.

“To represent this football club is everything. For me, the last six months of my life have been hard but every time I get the chance to put this Red & Black jersey on it means the world to me,” said Ben Keyte.

“Everything I do from now until the end of my life means the Wanderers.

“Thank you to everyone from the club who has believed in us from the start. We hope to give you more titles in the future and it’s been an honour to represent you.”

The Western Sydney Wanderers Powerchair Team will kick-off their season on Sunday 6 May at Valentine Sports Park.
