Speaking ahead of Saturday’s Round 4 match against Brisbane Roar at Bankwest Stadium, the classy attacker suggested the happier atmosphere is the big difference between last season and now.
The Wanderers will go into the game looking to maintain their spot at the top of the table following an unbeaten three-game start to the season.
“Within our team this year, the difference … we have got a lot of characters here and I think that is quite important for us to be a successful team,” said Yeboah.
“It is more of a family for us now, I think that is the biggest difference.”
Yeboah, who joined the club in December, got his first start of the season in the 1-0 win over Sydney FC in the Sydney Derby last week.
“It was good to get the three points,” he said.
“It wasn’t an easy start for me to the season with my injury for the first two rounds, but it is good to come back with a win.
“We were happy with the win, but to be honest, we want to play better and work on our on things. It was good we won, but we are not getting ahead of ourselves.”
