Following a perfect start to the season, Western Sydney Wanderers coach Markus Babbel has been named Hyundai A-League Coach of the Month for October.
Babbel led his Western Sydney side back to their spiritual home in Parramatta in style, securing maiden Bankwest Stadium wins against Central Coast Mariners and local rivals Sydney FC.
Wanderers also triumphed on the road against Melbourne Victory in Round 2, having come into the campaign without a Hyundai A-League Finals Series appearance for the past two seasons.
Melbourne City tactician Erick Mombaerts and Western United chief Mark Rudan also make the shortlist, but the German mopped up three quarters of all votes cast.
