Following his final match of his professional career, midfielder Pirmin Schwegler had a special message for Wanderers members and fans.
Hello to my Wanderers Family,
I just want to say thank you, it has been a pleasure to be here.
I really enjoyed every single day and maybe not the 14 days in quarantine – but it was important for me to come back to support my teammates, the staff and the fans of the club here.
It was a special year for me and in the end, I really enjoyed it.
I made friends here so this is the important here and I had a really good time here.
Thank you for your support and I will never forget my time here.
