Western Sydney’s future stars turned out in force for Term 3 of the Wanderers Pre-Academy Development Program, with an incredible 410 young footballers taking part across our six locations – Campbelltown, Strathfield, Parramatta, Hawkesbury, Rooty Hill and Penrith.
The Pre-Academy continues to go from strength to strength, providing aspiring players aged 5–15 with the perfect environment to learn, grow and fall in love with the game the Wanderers way.
Across the 10-week program, participants trained under the guidance of qualified Wanderers coaches, focusing on skill development, game awareness, teamwork and most importantly, having fun on the pitch.
The huge Term 3 turnout reflects the program’s growing reputation as one of Western Sydney’s leading grassroots football pathways.

For many, it is the first step on the journey towards the Wanderers Academy, and ultimately, representing the Red & Black at elite level.
But the football does not stop there.
Term 4 is already underway, and with sessions running weekly across all regions, it is never too late to join.
Whether you are returning for another term or lacing up for the first time, there is no better place to play, learn and be part of the Wanderers community.
