The African Cup NSW 2022 brought down the house with four epic Grand Final fixtures at Wanderers Football Park.
The first fixture of the day saw a nail-biting match pitting Zimbabwe’s Young Warriors against South Sudan in the U14s division.
It was first v second and Zimbabwe got the better of South Sudan in the end, defeating the side 3-2.
The U16s division saw South Africa take on Zimbabwe with the game going into extra time.
But it was Zimbabwe again who stepped up to be crowned the inaugural Champions after a chilling strike in the last-minute of the game.
In the afternoon, the women’s Grand Final saw defending Champions Sierra Leone face newcomers South Sudan.
Sierra Leone were crowned Champions for the second year in a row thanks to a solid 2-0 victory.
The final fixture of the day saw heavyweights Cape Verde come up against Zimbabwe in the Men’s Grand Final.
Cape Verde were crowned the new Champions after defeating Zimbabwe 2-1.
The Final was a pulsating fixture with both sides showing off their football skills and athleticism wrapping up what was a success 2022 tournament.
