A product of the Barcelona youth system, Andreu spent 12 years with the Catalan giants and made his first team debut in 2004 against Olympique de Marseilles during a tour of France.
Having spent the majority of his career in Spain, the central midfielder had been with Racing Santander for the two seasons prior to him joining the Wanderers where he earnt promotion from the Segunda B and reached the Quarter Finals of the 2013/14 Copa del Rey.
The 32-year-old also appeared in the 2011 FIFA Club World Cup during a guest stint with Auckland City.
Andreu joined Western Sydney Wanderers on 1 July 2015 and made his debut against Brisbane Roar in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32. He didn’t take long to get of fthe mark either, scoring his first Wanderers goal in Round 2 against Adelaide United.
Andreu departed the Wanderers at the conclusion of his contract on Thursday 5 May 2016.
