Wanderers Academy talent Tristan Arrarte has been selected in the Timor-Leste U-23s squad for the AFC U23 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026 Qualifiers, a proud milestone for the Red & Black pathway and a big step in the youngsters international journey.
Arrarte will head to Xi’an, China PR for the 1–9 September FIFA window, where Group D brings together host China PR, Australia, Northern Mariana Islands and Timor-Leste.
Representing Timor-Leste at U-23 level caps a strong period for Arrarte at the Wanderers Academy, where he has continued to refine his game within a high-performance environment built on hard work, resilience and the club’s values.
The selection underscores the Academy’s role in preparing players to perform beyond domestic competition and onto the international stage.
