Western Sydney Wanderers head coach Alen Stajcic has named his extended squad for tonight’s Australia Cup clash against Brisbane City FC.
The match will mark Stajcic’s first match in charge of the Red & Black with the Wanderers kicking off their 2024 Australia Cup campaign in Brisbane tonight.
Their opponents, Brisbane City, aren’t shy of Australia Cup experience having reached the Round of 16 back in 2022.
The Wanderers will be hoping to get off to a positive start in the new campaign and will be hoping to replicate the feats of their last Round of 32 appearance which saw them defeat Floreat Athena 6-1 last year.
Despite a handful of departures ahead of the 2024/25 season, there are still many familiar faces in the Red & Black’s extended squad and with the addition of some young faces from the Wanderers Academy get ready for an exciting night of Cup football.
