Keanu Baccus, Tarek Elrich and Raul Llorente took part in The Children’s Hospital at Westmead’s annual Radiothon yesterday afternoon and were part of the group that raised more than more than $4 million dollars.

The day’s excitement was broadcast on-air with smoothfm and live with 7News Sydney when the Hospital was transformed into a circus for 24 hours.

All donations received from Thursday evening to 6:00pm Friday were matched dollar-for-dollar.

All money raised goes towards lifesaving equipment, research, and delivering vital services to patients and their families, so we can help children and young adults live their healthiest lives possible.

“We are extremely happy and can’t thank the community enough for their enormous support,” said Nicola Stokes, Chief Executive Officer of the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation.

“We have been overwhelmed by the generosity and support of this year’s appeal. With this kind of result, we are able to give more to departments who need it most.

“These donations allow us to give our patients a level of care and support they may not otherwise receive,” said Nicola.

The appeal is open until Monday, so it’s not too late to Donate.
