We are firm supporters of White Ribbon Australia and will be wearing our white away kit on Saturday to support their campaign to end violence against women.
Fans are heavily encouraged to come to the match in white to support the campaign.
Â
Through wearing white, the same colour as the iconic ribbon, the fans and players at Wanderland will be raising awareness of all those women directly or indirectly affected by violence not only in the Western Sydney region but also throughout Australia.
Â
There will also be volunteers stationed at the program stands selling merchandise where the funds go towards transforming attitudes and behaviours that result in violence being instigated towards women in schools, workplaces and local communities.
You can help by clicking here and commiting to one supportive post on social media.
Â
Our players will be taking an oath in front of the crowd to further pledge their allegiance towards the cause and to do all in their power to end violence against women.
Â
On 24 November we will also be attending the Liverpool White Ribbon Walk from the Plaza towards Bigge Park with both Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League players in attendance.
Â
In conjunction with the White Ribbon Foundation, we hope that these initiatives encourage women to be confident enough to share their story with the belief that they will be heard whilst encouraging men to pledge their allegiance towards the prevention of violence against Women
Â
Wear the White Ribbon with pride.
