Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the re-signing of Tom Beadling for the next two Isuzu UTE A-League seasons.
Beadling featured in 10 matches during the 2022/23 season after an unfortunate injury during pre-season saw his start to the season disrupted.
The Sunderland Academy product is now set to continue his journey in the A-Leagues with the Wanderers until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Head coach Marko Rudan said he was delighted to retain Beadling.
“Tom is a fantastic character to have at the club and has shown both at training and in matches his versatility and passion for the club,” said Rudan.
“We are very excited to continue to work with Tom over the next two seasons.”
The 27-year-old originally from Barrow said he was eager to continue to contribute to the club.
“I loved pre-season at the Wanderers. It was very hard but that’s not a bad thing. I think it set us in good stead for the season. I enjoyed being here, I met a lot of people and good people. I enjoyed being on the pitch,” said Beadling.
“I’ve had a lot of support and everyone has been so patient with me throughout the club. So it’s nice to now be able to give back and get on the field, instead of supporting from afar.
“I’m re-signing because I feel like there’s unfinished business especially with the way the season ended for us.
“I really enjoyed my time here last year and I want that to continue. I want to win something here and to end it how we did last season was an underachievement.”
