Chauvet re-signs

Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the re-signing of defender Margaux Chauvet for the Liberty A-League season.

The young defender started her career in the domestic competition with the Wanderers and is set to embark on her second season with the club, having made six appearances so far.

Wanderers head coach Catherine Cannuli said she was delighted to have Margaux back for another season at the club.

“It’s been fantastic to watch Margaux’s growth at the club over the last year and we’re looking forward to her continuing her development at the club over the next season.”

Chauvet said she was eager to continue her football journey at the Red & Black.

“I’m so stoked, so grateful to be back at the Wanderers as it was an amazing experience for me last season,” said Chauvet.

“To be back again this season is so amazing and I’m keen for the season to start.

“I’m keen for all the work we’ve been putting together to start showing in results.

“We’re aiming to win and we’ve been so excited to finally start the season. So that means going into this match (on Friday night) to win, winning every game possible, and to work hard.
