The Wanderers became only the third team in the history of the competition to win seven matches in a row when they defeated Perth Glory. The match also marked Aaron Mooyās first ever goal for the club.

Wanderers 3 (42ā Polenz, 61ā Bridge, 78ā Juric) v Perth Glory 0
The Red & Black claimed their fourth-straight clean sheet and solidifed second place on the ladder with a two-point buffer in their demolition of Perth. Three minutes from the break the Wanderers finally got the breakthrough. Jerome Polenz played a clever one-two with Hersi putting him in space down the left hand side. Fifteen minutes into the second half, the home side doubled their lead with a great piece of individual skill from Mark Bridge. With half an hour to go Tony Popovic brought on Shinji Ono, and not long after that Tomi Juric was sent in, and 12 minutes to go the pair combined with Hersi for the Wanderersā third.

Dario Vidosic was the man of the moment as the Wanderers got their first win of the 2015/16 season after outplaying Perh for a 1-0 victory.Ā Starting his first match for the Red & Black, Vidosic was the creative outlet for the team and scored his first goal for the club in first half additional time.

Wanderers 2 (43ā Riera, 45ā Kusukami) v Perth Glory 1 (82ā Hamill OG)
The Wanderers made a winning sart to their campaign thanks to two late first half goals from Oriol Riera and Jumpei Kusukami. The goals were enough to hand all three points to the Red & Black despite the Glory pulling one back after a Brendan Hamill own goal. It was the first time the Wanderersā have won a Round 1 fixture in the A-League and comes after a tumultuous week in which inaugural head coach Tony Popovic left to pursue an opportunity abroad.

Wanderers 3 (45ā 47ā Duke, 52ā Troisi) v Perth Glory 0
The Wanderers saw two strikes to Bernie Ibini and a Kosuke Ota own goal all ruled out for offside in the opening 33 minutes of play but refused to let frustration settle in, mounting attack after attack on Perthās defence which ultimately led to Dukeās opener in first-half stoppage time. Duke scored his second two minutes into the second 45, taking Baccusā lofted through ball down and surging past Luke Bodnar into space. Reddy got a palm on Dukeās shot but the ball curled into the back of the net as the hosts began to see reward for their efforts. Gloryās thinly-spread defence were exposed once again for the third goal, which Troisi walked over the goal line.
