Dario joined the Wanderers in September 2015 as the club’s second marquee.

Born in the former Yugoslavia to Croatian parents, Dario moved to Australia in 1988, settling in Brisbane.

After receiving a scholarship from the Australian Institute of Sport, Dario signed for then Queensland Roar in 2006 on a two-year contract and made an instant impact for the Roar, scoring five times in 17 appearances to earn a move to FC Nurnberg in the Bundesliga.

Although injury struggles hampered his first season with the relegated German club, he eventually returned to help FC Nurnberg achieve promotion back into the Bundesliga. In 2010, Dario was sent on loan to MSV Duisburg in the German second division before he was again loaned out to Arminia Bielefeld in third tier of German football.

Looking for a change, Dario returned down under and signed for Adelaide United in 2011 as the club’s Australian marquee. Vidosic flourished in his two seasons with the Reds, scoring 14 goals and helping them to consecutive finals appearances.

Having noted his impressive Hyundai A-League comeback, Dario was signed to the services of Swiss side FC Sion in 2013, where he would score eight goals in two seasons and, on 21 September 2015, the Socceroo joined the Wanderers on a two-year deal.

Dario scored his first goal in Red & Black when he scored the winner against Perth Glory in Round 4 but will forever be written in Wanderers history for his impressive curling effort against rivals Sydney FC in the Round 15 Sydney Derby as well as scoring the winner in the famous 5-4 semi-final win over Brisbane Roar.

On Friday 24 June it was announced that Dario had left the club.
