The A-Leagues is pleased to confirm that a month-long frenzy of football will kick off this weekend, with dozens of additional games added to the fixture each week, across both the Isuzu UTE A-League Men and Liberty A-League Women’s competitions.
Around 60 professional matches will feature throughout February, as the ALeagues’ return at full speed, following weeks of COVID19 disruptions. Clubs will be able to catch up on postponed games from December and January, with recovered players quickly returning to match fitness.
With daily ALeagues action from Friday January 28 through to the end of February, Australian football fans will have plenty to choose from with all games available on Paramount+, and weekly simultaneous free-to-air games on Network 10 and 10BOLD.
ALeagues Commissioner of Football, Greg O’Rourke said that the Feb Football Frenzy was an opportunity for football fans across the country to reconnect with the sport and celebrate the remainder of the season with their clubs.
“This is the second season we have been impacted by pandemic conditions and we have operated consistently with the safety of our players, clubs and fans at the core. We have implemented effective processes and protocols across the clubs and postponement decisions were not taken lightly.
“As we look forward to the remainder of the Isuzu UTE ALeague Men and Liberty ALeague Women 2021/22 seasons, we are excited for our Clubs and fans to get back on the pitch and celebrate our game at full speed. With the rescheduled matches in February, our fans will have more chances than ever before to engage with football either in stadiums or on 10 and Paramount+.’
