As Sydney prepares for the historical first ever Sydney Derby in the Hyundai A-League between the NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers and Sydney FC, the Wanderers advises that all public allocated tickets have now been sold, with the match officially sold out.
The rush for tickets forms part of what has been an incredibly entertaining and exciting start to the 2012/13 Hyundai A-League and the Wanderers will look to continue in that fashion when they take on Sydney FC at Parramatta Stadium this Saturday night.
The only remaining availability for the match is to purchase a Wanderers Foundation Membership, which will not only guarantee you entry to this historic Derby, but also the remainder of the Wanderers home matches in season 2012/13. As part of your package you will receive a range of exclusive added benefits.
Corporate packages are also still available and enquiries can be made by contacting the Wanderers.
Fans attending the match are reminded that your ticket also entitles you to free public transport to and from Parramatta Stadium on Saturday on all CityRail services (bounded by Dungog, Scone, Lithgow, Goulburn and Bomaderry); all regular Sydney Buses (STA) services; Liverpoool to Parramatta Tway services and Sydney Ferries. Patrons simply show their ticket or pass to CityRail station staff, bus drivers or ferry staff and they will be able to travel without paying an additional train, bus or ferry fare.
Wanderers Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman was today excited by the dedication and forward planning of all football supporters.
“This has been a much anticipated event since the Wanderers joined the Hyundai A-League,” Gorman said. “Saturday will see football at the forefront of everyone-s mind and we at the Wanderers thank everyone for getting in early and purchasing their tickets and demonstrating their support for the Hyundai A-Leagues “newest, oldest club.”
“There are still opportunities to attend the match, whether it be by becoming a Foundation Member of the Wanderers or at a corporate level so we encourage people to explore these options and join us at Parramatta Stadium for this historic event.”
