3. Pied Piper of Hamelin

Piovaccari’s career has seen him compared to the legend of the Pied Piper, a man who saved the city of Hamlin by drawing mice out of the city with his pipe playing style.
The comparison was that of Piovaccari drawing people into the stadium of Steaua Bucuresti with his playing style.
This was amplified by his trademark pied piper celebration after scoring.
4. Liga I Champion
During his time at Steaua Bucuresti he won the Romanian Liga I and the Romanian Super Cup and scored regulary for them in the UEFA Champions League.
His time at the club saw him coached by Laurențiu Reghecampf who Wanderers supporters may know as the ex-coach of Al-Hilal or the man who dismissed the Wanderers prior to the Champions League Final
“No, I promise you we won’t lose tomorrow. I’m going to see to that and I hope that [Western] Sydney will stay a small team.”
Well that’s a bit of an awkward statement now.

5. La Liga
Piovaccari spent last season playing in the La Liga with SD Eibar, making 30 appearances and scoring seven goals in all competitions including one against Atletico Madrid.
