Western Sydney Wanderers forward Liam Gillion has been selected in the New Zealand national team squad for the upcoming November international window, with the All Whites set to face India in a two-match series on home soil.
Gillion has been named in head coach Darren Bazeley’s 22-player squad, with New Zealand preparing to close out 2026 with fixtures in Auckland and Christchurch.
The selection marks another proud moment for the Wanderers attacker, who will have the opportunity to add to his two senior international appearances for the All Whites.
New Zealand will kick off the international window against India at Go Media Stadium in Auckland on Thursday 12 November, before heading to Christchurch for a historic fixture at the new One New Zealand Stadium on Sunday 15 November.
The Christchurch encounter will mark the first-ever international football match held at the venue, adding further significance to the All Whites’ final international fixtures of the year.
Gillion joins a squad featuring Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood, alongside a number of familiar A-League Men talents, as New Zealand look to finish the calendar year on a high.
The two fixtures form part of the ‘100 Years of Unity Through Sport’ celebrations between India and New Zealand, bringing international football to home crowds across the country.
Both matches will be broadcast live and free on DAZN and TVNZ.
The Wanderers congratulate Liam on his selection and wish him all the best for the upcoming international fixtures.
