Western Sydney Wanderers FC are delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Bethany Gordon for the upcoming Liberty A-League season.
Gordon joins the Red & Black from a recent stint at Newcastle Jets where she featured in 11 matches in the Liberty A-League last season.
Prior to the Jets, Gordon made a handful of appearances at Canberra United in the domestic competition.
The talented midfielder makes the move to Western Sydney also after a very successful season in the National Premier League Women’s with Macarthur Rams where she won the league and featured in 22 matches, scoring three goals.
A Western Sydney local, Gordon said she was delighted to represent her hometown club this season.
“I was born and raised a Western Sydney girl, always with the aspirations to play for my local A-leagues team. This gives me a great sense of fulfilment to be representing Western Sydney and the Red & Black jersey,” said Gordon.
“I want to maximise my minutes and focus on enjoying the season ahead.
“As a team, I want us to be winners, week in and week out, I want us to have the mentality to push for three points.”
