HAL: Ins & Outs for Saturday’s match against Wellington

Josep Gombau has named his squad for Saturday’s Hyundai A-League Round 22 match against Wellington Phoenix at Spotless Stadium.

Tickets to the match are available here.

There are three additions to the squad, with Brendon Santalab and Brendan Hamill returning from injury, and Roly Bonevacia coming back into the side after serving his one-game suspension.

After Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Perth Glory here at Spotless, the Wanderers sit in sixth place, two points below Adelaide United in fifth, two points ahead of Brisbane Roar in seventh and four points ahead of the Glory in eighth.

With just four matches remaining for the Wanderers after Saturday’s fixture – the last two being at home to Brisbane and Adelaide – every point is precious as teams clamour for a finals spot.

Wellington, who this week announced the departure of head coach Darije Kalezic,  have found the going tough this season and sit bottom of the ladder after their 1-0 loss to the Central Coast Mariners last round.

The omens bode well for Josep Gombau’s men heading into this fixture, with the Wanderers having won four of their last five home games against the Nix, including a 3-1 win in the only previous clash at Spotless Stadium.
