Harding signs two-year deal

Western Sydney Wanderers FC are delighted to confirm the signing of attacker Sophie Harding for the next two Liberty A-League seasons.

Harding comes to the club after two seasons at Newcastle Jets where she made 25 appearances and scored two goals.

The fast-paced attacker said she was excited to maximise her potential at the Wanderers.

“Coming from Newcastle, I think I was able to really establish myself as a professional player,” explained Harding.

“It was a great place for me to gain confidence and realise my potential. Now at the Wanderers, I need to apply myself in all areas to maximise that potential and put on good performances at the club.

“This season is very exciting, we have a lot of young talent who are willing to work really hard and I think that can be very hard to beat. For me, I want to score as many goals as possible.

“As for the team, of course the goal is Finals Football, I think with the right mentality that we have the ability to do that.”

The Wanderers will commence their campaign in Tamworth when they take on the Newcastle Jets on 26 November 2022.
