The Western Sydney Wanderers, in partnership with STARTTS and proudly supported by the Australian Government’s Play Our Way program, are proud to launch Her Game, Her Future – a powerful new initiative using football to connect and empower refugees and asylum seeker women in our community.
Held weekly at the Wanderers Football Park in Rooty Hill, this free program invites women aged 18 and over (with younger participants also welcomed) to take part in a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where sport is just the beginning.
Her Game, Her Future is about breaking down barriers – including cost, transport, language, and safety – and providing women with a space to move, grow, and belong.
Led by accredited female coaches, each session offers more than just football – it’s an opportunity to build confidence, create friendships, and foster lasting community connections.
