Western Sydney Wanderers have today confirmed that goalkeeper Jordan Holmes has signed a contract extension that will see him remain at the club until the end of the 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
Holmes, who joined the Wanderers in 2024, has brought experience and depth to the Red & Black’s goalkeeper unit.
A former Australian youth international with professional experience in both the England and Australia, Holmes has been a composed and dependable figure, contributing leadership, consistency, and a strong presence both on the training ground and in the match day environment.
The 27-year-old said he was honoured to extend his stay with the club.
“The club as a whole is really special,” said Holmes.
“I believe what the Boss has created with this current squad is very unique and was too good of an opportunity to walk away from and not be part of.
“I’m hoping to help and contribute in whatever way possible to help this great club achieve our main goal of winning the A-League. With this group of players, there’s no reason why we can’t achieve that.
“I want to firstly thank the members and fans for accepting me and showing me unconditional support since the first day I joined. I can’t wait to make more special memories on and off the pitch in the coming seasons.
“I also want to thank the Boss and the hierarchy of the Wanderers for showing faith in me and allowing me to be part of this journey, and the continued path of success this great club is on.”

Head coach Alen Stajcic spoke highly of Holmes’ contribution to the team.
“I am so pleased that Jordan has remained with the club,” said Stajcic.
“An exceptional player and person that contributes to the team dynamic in so many ways. We are fortunate to have three outstanding goalkeepers on our roster continually pushing each other to higher levels of performance.”
