How to watch: Australia v Republic of Ireland

Australia kicks off their FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ against debutants the Republic of Ireland on Thursday, 20 July (8:00 pm AEST), with over 80,000 fans set to pack into Stadium Australia for the match.

Tony Gustavsson’s side will play their opening match against tournament debutants, with the Republic of Ireland playing in their first major tournament. 

How to watch

The match against the Republic of Ireland will be broadcast live and free on Channel 7 and streamed live on 7 Plus in Australia.

Alternatively all games will be available to watch via Optus Sport for the tournament, all 64 matches live with replays, mini matches and extended highlights to be provided for each fixture on the platform.
