Ins & Outs: Perth v Wanderers

Head coach Marko Rudan has named his extended squad for the Wanderers clash against Perth Glory at HBF Park this Friday night. Ins & Outs are brought to you by ABAL Banking.

The Wanderers make the trip to Western Australia for the second time this season and will be looking to build on their recent result against Central Coast Mariners.

Brandon Borrello grabbed his fourth goal in three games to open the Wanderers’ account in the 26th minute before their captain Marcelo was dismissed shortly after halftime for a two-footed tackle.

Despite the fact they were down to 10 men, Frenchman Romain Amalfitano put the Wanderers two up on the hour mark with the Wanderers then happy to defend their lead until the end.

With a short turnaround now to Perth, the Red & Black will be without defenders Gab Cleur and captain Marcelo who are both suspended for this round.

Perth Glory will be looking to bounce back on Friday night after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Western United last Saturday afternoon.

The Glory were unable to close the gap on the Top Six despite having the better of the chances.
