The Western Sydney Wanderers face a tough test this Saturday as they host undefeated Canberra United at Wanderers Football Park.
After back-to-back losses to Adelaide and Wellington earlier this week, Geoff Abrahams’ side will need to tighten up defensively and show resilience against a Canberra team brimming with confidence.
The visitors’ young stars have been in fine form recently, with Mary Stanic-Floody and Sofia Christopherson creating chances for Sienna Dale and Sasha Grove.
To challenge the top-of-the-table side, the Wanderers will need their defence to stand tall and replicate the composure that earned them a clean sheet in the Sydney Derby.
